Crystalline Peak Haven was born in 2007 when two competitive ski racers, frustrated by the lack of technically serious gear shops in Tokyo, decided to open their own. What started as a modest 40-square-metre shop in Shibuya has grown into Japan's most trusted winter sports destination.
Our founders spent years racing on circuits across Japan, Europe, and North America — experiences that shaped an uncompromising standard for every product we carry. We never stock gear we would not use ourselves on a demanding day at altitude.

Every staff member at Crystalline Peak Haven is an active skier, snowboarder, or alpine tourer. We spend our winters on the slopes of Hokkaido, Nagano, and Niigata — testing new products, building relationships with brand partners, and staying connected to the sport we love.
